Cow beef consisted chiefly of aged cows. Store cattle consisted of miscellaneous mixed bred small lots.
Except for extra good lots the market for store sheep was easier. Very forward wethers made 24/6 and young ewes, running with Southdown rams, brought 26/3. Most entries of lambs were in light store order, being hard to sell. In the fat pens ewes rose 1/6 a head, and prime mothers macte to 29/.
