Anderson Rides Pour Winners [Per Press Association. Copyright.] HASTINGS, This Day. The Waipukurau Jockey Club’s autumn meeting was commenced yesterday in fine weather before a large attendance. The totalisator put through £8,384, compared with £7,893 10/ for the first day last year. Anderson rode four winners.— Waipukurau Cup, of 130 sovs, and cup valued at 20 sovs; one mile and a quarter.—(l) Soho, 8.1, 1; (4) Tareha, 7.2, 2; (2) Passionflower, 8.10, 3. Five others started. A neck; a head. Time 2.7 3-5. Pukeora Handicap, of 80 sovs; two-year-olds; five furlongs.—(3) Airini, 7.8, 1; (1) Felicitation, &10, 2; (2) Cullamore, 7.10, 3. Seven others started. A neck each way. Time —1.2. Ladies’ Handicap, of 75 sovs; one mile and three furlongs.— (1) Marching Song, 11.10, 1; (3) Count Willonyx, 10.10, 2; (7) Umpire, 10.0, 3. Eight others started. A nose; half a length.
