Autumn Nursery Handicap, of 350 sovs; 2-year-olds; six furlongs.—(7-7) Great Bramble, 7.7, 1; (1-1) Lazy Bones, 9.1, 2; (4-5) Mulatto, 8.4, 3. Scratched: Mob Rule and Dividend. Won by a length; half a length. Time, 1.15.
Challenge Stakes, of SOOsovs., weight for age, with penalties and allowances; about seven furlongs.—Royal Chief 1, Nightdress 2, Paper Slipper 3. Scratched: Silver Ring, Haughty Winner, Screamer. Length; four lengths. Time, 1.32. Second and third horses were coupled. No favouritism telegraphed.
