Whangaroa Golf Club
The annual meeting of the Whahgaroa Golf Club was held in the Soldiers’ Memorial Library, Kaeo, on Tuesday evening.’ The balance sheet showed the club to be in a sound state financially, the year closing with a credit of £l3 13/4. The membership increased from 37 to 50. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr Chappell; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr D. Whitehead; club captain, Mr H. P, Metcalfe; management committee, Messrs Strumpel, B. O. Moselen, English, A. Hayes and W. Whitehead; ladies’ committee, Mrs Pinches, Misses L. Clark, M, Taylor, and N. Whitehead, (one other to be elected later); auditor, Mr P. Miller.
