Broadwood

The March meeting of the League ; of Mothers, Broadwood, was held in ! the 1.0.0. F. Hall, Mrs J. Middleton [presiding over a good attendance ol [ members. The Rev. McClure, who was to have given an address, sent his apologies for non-attendance. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames T. Salvair, V. Hawke, T. Nash, and Armstead. Golf. A committee meeting was held during the week, Mr H. Mansbridge presiding. It was decided to change the opening day to April 4. The fairways have been mowed and the last-minute arrangements are being hurried to have everything in tip-top order. Mr M, Bennett left on Thursday morning for Whangarei, where he has obtained employment. Mrs P. / Edwards lett on Monday morning for Auckland.
