MR RODDA JOINS PRIME MINISTER’S PARTY

Rodda, will be a member of the *jNew Zealand delegation to the Imiperial Conference. The Prime Minjister. Mr Savage, said tonight that, in | view of the fact that finance ' would jlargely enter into the discussions at | the' conference, it had been arranged | for Mr Rodda to be added to the deleI gation. j Mr Rodda will accompany Mr Sav- | iage and party on the Arawa, sailing ■from Wellington next Saturday night, j The New Zealand delegation to the j Coronation and the Imperial Conference will now be as follows: — Mr Savage, Mr C. A. Bereudsen, Permanent Head of the Prime Minister’s Department; Mr C. A. Jcff£i'y. clerk of the Executive Counj cil, and chief private secretary to j the Prime Minister; and Mr Rodda. i While in London, Mr Savage will | have associated with him the High ( i Commissioner for New Zealand. IVL j j W. J. Jordan, the Minister of Finance land Marketing, the Hon. W. Nash, and j ! the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. j [Armstrong. j i Mr Armstrong, who will attend the i ! ] Labour Conference at Geneva, will I leave Wellington for Europe on April I G, travelling by way of Australia and j the Mediterranean to Naples. He will j then journey by train through Italy and France, and will reach London on May 11, the day before the Coronation.
