Mr A. Wright leaves for Auckland on Tuesday morning. Mrs Whitefield, of Auckland, who has been visiting friends and relatives in the North, has returned home. Mr H. Carr, who has been in illhealth for some time, is in Auckland for special advice. The calf club judging was held at the school on Friday afternoon, when committeemen and parents wore present. Prizes were awarded as follows: Best-reared calf. T. Watts, 1; M. Stewart, 2; Norma Masters. 3. Dairy type: Nancy Masters 1. Norma Masters 2. Thelma Stewart, 3. The Takahue No. 1 tennis team made its second attempt to play Kaiaka team at Takahue on Saturday. Eight sets were finished, when rain again spoiled the play. The match will now have to be played at a date to bo arranged later in the season.
