FUNCTION AT KAIKOHE
The Anglican Ladies’ Guild were very successful with their annual flower show held this year in the Masonic Hall, Kaikohe. There was a good attendance and most things were sold and altogether they made a pleasing profit from the goods which were for sale. Stall-holders were as follows: — Produce and flowers, Mrs H. R. Vaile; cake stall, Mesdames C and F. Dickeson; work stall, Mrs J. Orr and Mias Clegg; afternoon tea, Mesdames Wadsworth, Blow and Wallace; sweet stall, Mrs Ingram. Judges of the cut flower section were: —Mrs Johnson and Mrs Hows The produce judge was Mr Hows.

Bedggood 1. A raffle for an afternoon tea-cloth conducted during the afternoon was won by Mrs L. Davison. The venture was a very successful one.
