MOEREWA

Mr Hollings, of Kaikohe, paid a visit on Thursday to the local farm of Northland Piggeries where the manager, Mr Bolton, has just had completed a loading ramp which will greatly facilitate the handling of pigs. Mr Thos. Hawkins, whose parents reside at Hikurangi, and are old residents of that district, has joined the staff of the Bay of Islands butter factory here.

Mrs A. J. Knight, who leaves Moerewa shortly to take up residence in Wanganui, will be much missed here, as she has always taken a keen interest in all social functions, and was ever ready to lend her aid for any worthy cause.

The sympathy of the whole district is extended to Mr Robert Holland and family in the loss of their wife and mother.

Mrs G. Robertson, a daughter, now living in Kawakawa, is very well known here, and members of the family have always paid frequent business visits to this township.
