STEADY BIDDING AGAIN [Special to “Northern Advocate .”o AUCKLAND, This Day. The week finished with steady bid* ding on the Stock Exchange. The banking section was quiet and Com* monwealths sold Id lower at 18/8, with more available at that New Zealands, too. were weak and a parcel was placed 3d lower at £2 1/3. with a subsequent market between 41/ and 41,6. Nationals were quoted ex dividend with sellers at £3 3/ and no buyers. In Australian issues Molds Docks recovered with business at 12/3. a rise of Bd, after which quotations were from 12 to 12 G. Colonial Sugars were very fair. with a buyer at £‘43, and sellers 15/ higher. Dunlops improved with a sale at 18/9. and more available at that figure. In local securities, Traders' Finance improved with buyers of the ordinary at 12/ and the con. issue at 42. Dominion Breweries continued firm with buyers at 2G 9 and no sellers.
