SENIOR B GRADE

Good football was seen in the senior B match between Mangakahia and Manaia, played on No. 2 ground at Kensington Park. The Mangakahia team has consolidated very well, and, after drawing with Pipiwai the previous week, secured its first win—l 3 to 9. Considering the slippery ball, the handling of both sides was good, and this accounted for the high scoring. Out at Poroti, Pipiwai retained their unbeaten record, beating Whatitiri in a hard game by six points to nil. The scorers were Herewini and Moore.
