COLLISION IN HARBOUR

YACHT DAMAGED BY OUTBOARD As the result of a collision with an outboard motor yesterday morning, the 14-foot yacht Whizz Bang was extensively damaged. The accident occurred off the Kaiwaka flashlight. The sailing boat, owned by Mr N. E. Crimp, but in the charge of A. Wright, was making up the river and the speed boat—owned by Mr A. Bosselman was heading for Onerahi. The yacht came about and the outboard crashed into its starboard • side, smashing in two planks above the water-line. i

The crippled Whizz Bang managed to sail hdme, but her repairs will be a big item. The smaller craft suffered no ill-effect.
