SETTLEMENT REACHED
GOODFELLOW-DAVEY CASE
[Spectal to “Northern Advocate.”] AUCKLAND. This Day.
It is announced today that a settlement has been reached respecting a writ issued against 'William Goodfeliow, company director of Auckland, last October, claiming £1,145 and the declaration that the agreement entered into with Albert Ernest Davey, a political organiser, regarding the formation of a new political party was no longer binding. The case was mentioned before a Chief Justice in chambers at Wellington on October 18, when an application was made for the hearing. It is understood that one condition of the settlement is that the terms will not be revealed for publication.
