NO HOPE FOR MISSING MEN.
, A rumour gained wide currency yesterday and was even broadcast that Mr W. F. McLeod and his son had been rescued from their launch, which has been missing from New Plymouth since the storm. The rumour, however, was not confirmed and no hope is entertained of the men being found alive.
