At a meeting of the directors of the Kaitaia Dairy Company today Mr C. B Michie was elected chairman. Mr F. H. Robertson, 8.A., who occupied the pulpit, of Whangarei Presbyterian Church during January, has been successful in attaining his M.A. degree with honours. Yesterday morning the staff of Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Vine Street. Whangarei, gathered to farewell Mr J. Dickson, who has been with the firm for 12 years, and who is on transfer to Auckland. Mr J. F. Tonkin, the manager, in presenting Mr Dickson with a travelling case, referred to the loss they felt at his departure, and wished him every success in the future. The recipient suitably responded. An illness has recently compelled Mr Dickson; to spend three months in the Whangarei Hospital, but he is now on the way to good health again, and left yesterday for his new post.
