Sir Michael Myers, Chief Justice, and Lady Myers, will leave by the Rangitata on April 9 on a six months’ visit to England. The Governor-General, Viscount Galway, returned to Auckland from Wellington by the Limited express on Tuesday. Their Excellencies are now in residence at Government House.

Mr Francis Fraser MacKenzie, who will retire shortly from the Government Valuation Department after over 35 years of service, has the distinction of having revalued the city and suburban areas of Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin.
