THAMES ROAD CRASH [■Special to “Northern Advocate.”! THAMES, This Day. Injured in a road smash in which his wife was killed at the junction of the Kerepeehi and Paeroa-Ngatea roads on Monday, Mr Arthur Kearsley, aged 41, died in the Thames Hospital yesterday. Mr and Mrs Kearsley. who were farming at Kerepeehi, were travelling in a motor cycle and side car, which was involved in a collision with a heavy truck. Mrs Kearsley was thrown to the road, her death occurring almost instantly. Her husband suffered severe internal injuries and concussion and did not regain consciousness. There are no children.
