LATE MAIL SERVICE

(Received 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day.

The Minister of Defence, Mr Parkhill, said today that the continued late arrival of the Imperial Airways air mail machines at Singapore was causing great concern, and the matter was being taken up with the British Government. The British Imperial mail plane has been late on seven occasions in the last two months.
