PAPAROA

SHOW COMMITTEE MEETING. The committee of the North Kaipara Agricultural Association met in Paparoa on Tuesday evening. The president, Mr J. J. Sutherland, presided. The action of the president and secretary in accepting a quote for the printing in connection with the forthcoming show, was confirmed. Mr Christie, headmaster of the Paparoa School, was present, and on his recommendation several alterations were made to the children’s section of the schedule. The alterations would bring this section more in line with modern educational methods.

Various details in connection with minor alterations to the schedule were finalised.

On the suggestion of the president, it was decided to make special arrangements for the carriage of stock from the railway to the showgrounds. This being the Jubilee show of the Association, special efforts are being made to make the event worthy of the occasion.

Judges were appointed for the various classes.
