WEDDING
MOFFAT—STEED. The wedding took place on October 16 at the Presbyterian Church at Kaitaia, of Jean Catherine Agnes, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Steed, of Waiharara, and Henry Kedzlie Wilson, youngest son of Mrs and the late Mr Alexander- Moffat, of Kohumaru, Mangonui. The bride wore a frock of white crepe de chine and white lace, with embroidered Brussels net veil and orange blossom. The bridesmaid, Miss Ella Steed, sister of the bride, wore a frock of peach crepe de chine and white hat. Mr George Steed, brother of the bride, was best man. The Rev. Nicholas officiated, and Miss B. Houston, of Mangonui, played the wedding music. Later,. a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, where Mrs T. Steed received a large number of guests. She was wearing a frock of blue crepe de chine. Mrs Moffat, mother of the groom, wore white remain crepe. Mr R. L. McNabb was toastmaster.
