DAIRY PAYOUTS
Gisborne Companies.—An advance of 1/1 per lb on September, butterfat has been decided upon by Gisborne dairy companies. This is the highest advance since 1931, and is among the highest current payments reported in New. Zealand. The Kia Ora Co-op. Dairy Company, Ltd., is distributing £11,929 to, suppliers, exclusive of merchants’ accounts, compared with £7IBO last year, the increase in total payment representing about 70 per cent., in spite of the decrease in output. The September advance last season was 7d. The Okitu Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., is also paying 1/1, the highest advance since 1930. • 1/- at Opotlki. —The Opotiki Dairy Association will pay out on Monday 1/ per lb butterfat for September supply of cream. ■. -■
