SOCIAL CLUB. At the last bridge tournament, six tables were in play; and the prizes went‘to Mrs L. Ormandy and Mr L. Price. i Last Saturday evening the five hunr dred and table tennis tournaments took place. Mrs Gulbransen s*nd Mr ,R. Jaggard were the winners of five hundred prizes, and Miss M. Monk and Mr L. Price annexed the table tennis trophies. The club championship in the table tennis section will be played at an early date, after which the season will be closed with a grand ball. The details of the table tennis tournament are: — A Section.—First round: R. Price (-25) beat C. McAdam (-30), Mrs Ormandy (-7) beat S. Ormandy (-30), J. Price (-35) beat G. Hayward (-7), Mrs Finlayson (scr.) beat F. Thomas (-2), M. Carter (-2) beat F, Massey (-2), L. Price (-7) beat P. Carter'(scr). Second rounld: Mrs Ormandy beat R. Price, J. Price beat Mrs Finlayson, L. Price beat M. Carter. Semi-final: Mrs Ormandy beat J. Price. Final: Mrs Ormandy beat L. Price. B Section. —First round: Mrs Gulbransen (-10) beat Mrs King (-5), Miss M. Monk (-15) beat R. McAllister (-20), F. Hill won by default, L. Gulbransen (-20) beat Mrs Jaggard (scr), J.’ Gulbransen (-15) beat R. Jaggard (-8), H. Harvey (-10) beat F. Price (-8). Second round: Miss M. Monk beat Mrs Gulbransen, L. Gulbransen beat F. Hill, H. Harvey beat J. Gulbransen. Semifinal: Miss M. Monk beat L. Gulbransen. Final: Miss M. Monk beat H. Harvey.
