CRIPPLED CHILDREN’S FUND
THE FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT
£47 6/10 RECEIVED
Following the conclusion of our Aid to Cripples campaign, conducted in the "Young Northlander" some time ago, a number of further contributions wore received —amounting to a further £G 4s Bd—one arriving only yesterday. . The success of this campaign, speaks eloquently of the sympathy boys and girls have for their less fortunate fellows, and it is to the credit of the readers of this page that £47 6s lOd was contributed in small sums—pennies and threepences for the most part—towards this worthy cause. An additional word of thanks must be added for the many school teachers who helped so materially by collection the donations of their pupils.. New the good work is going on, and relief is well on the way for little people who have lost the use of their limbs. Some, there may be, who would still like to help further. Although our own campaign has ended, the Mayor’s fund is still open, and contributions, no matter how small, will, I feel sure, still be welcomed by the Mayor of Whangarei. We thank the following young people for contributions not previ-
cusly acknowledged.— Joan Morey, P.O. Kaitaia .. Olwyn Lynton Morey, P.O. £ s d 0 1 0 Kaitaia 0 1 0 Tikinui School 0 4 6 Whangaroa North School .. 0 6 0 Kairangaroa School (3/-) — R.
