PAPAROA
The weekly card evening attracted a good attendance at Paparoa on Saturday evening. Mrs E. G. Aickin carried off the honours in the bridge, with Mr E. G. Aickin in second .place, while Mrs J. J. Sutherland and Mr Cornish were first and second respectively in the 500 tourney. The Drill Hall presented an animated scene over the week-end when a large band of volunteers rolled along to assist in the decoration for the annual ball.
