AGAIN IN COURT. FURTHER REMAND. I Special to “Northern Advocate.”! AUCKLAND, This Day. A further appearance in the dock in the police court was made today by George Frederick Hewer, aged 49. medical practitioner, and Phyllis Shorter, aged 31, a married woman, charged on July 23, with unlawfully using an instrument, or other means, on a female, with intent to procure a certain result. Senior-Detective Hall obtained a reman by consent to August 26. Mr R. A. Singer represented both accused, and, on his application, Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., renewed bail in each case, "
