ITALY’S GOLD RESERVES GOING
(Received 11 a.m.) ROME, August 11. Well informed circles stated that, by raising the bank rate, Italy has adopted the orthodox method adopted by France when gold began to leave the country. The bank return shows that the . gold reserve fell to 66,000.000 lira in the last 10 days of July.
