AT THE SALEYARDS
KAMO STOCK MARKET. DAIRY CATTLE AND BEEF. On account of the weather the yarding was not so heavy at Kamo yesterday, states the North Auckland Farmers’ Co-op., Ltd. Forward dairy stock was- in fairly keen demand and backward and inferior dairy cows and heifers were hard to quit. The ox beef supply was not up to the usual standard, but some particularly fine cow and heifer beef came forward. This sold at a little bjstter than late rates.

Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held the monthly sale at Kamo yesterday, when the fully advertised numbers of cattle and pigs were yarded. Beef of good quality was penned in large numbers. The supply of pigs was more than the average, and the prices obtained showed an advance. The attendance was fair after the inclement weather, but competition for beef was keen at fully late rates. All other classes of store cattle sold under steady competition. Dairy cows and heifers were rather dull of sale, with prices slightly below.
