England’s team for the fourth test against South Africa, commencing at Old Trafford on Saturday, will be selected from: —Wyatt, Clay (Glamorgan) , Robins, Hammond, Leylahd, Verity, Barber, A. Mitchell (Yorkshire) , Bowes, Tate, Duckworth, D, Smith and Hardstaff.

Arrangements, which are without precedent, have been made to house all the members of the English team at the same hotel at Manchester, where the English selectors and the South Africans also are staying. The clamoui? for Wyatt’s relegation is still unabated.
