OHAEAWAI-KAIKOHE
DAILY TRANSPORT SERVICE. PASSENGERS AND GOODS, A new and regular daily transport service has been started between Ohaeawai and Kaikohe. A car leaves Ohaeawai every morning after the arrival of all the northern service cars at Ohaeawai, and leaves Kaikohe in the afternoon in time to connect with the -northern transport services before they leave Ohaeawai on their homeward journey in the evening. This will enable people from all parts of the Mangonui. Whangaroa. Bay of Islands and Hokianga (north of the Hokianga harbour) counties to travel direct to Kaikohe merely by changing from their ordinary service cars at Ohaeawai. The return journey is provided for in the same way. Passengers may travel direct from Kaikohe to any district north or northwest of Ohaeawai merely by changing again at Ohaeawai into their ordinary sendee cars. The fare between Ohaeawai and Kaikohe is 2/ single and 4/ return. Goods and parcels are also carried by .this service.
