IMPORTED SHEEP DOGS

THREE FROM ENGLAND FOR OTAGO STATION (.Special to “Northern Advocate."! DUNEDIN, This Day. When Dr. Moody, of Dunedin, returned from his trip abroad on the Tamaroa on Friday, he brought back with him three very valuable sheep dogs of the best English breed. One of the new arrivals was bred from an international sheep dog trial winner, and another won the first prize at the Welsh dog trials the week before the ship left for New Zealand. The animals were specially vaccinated on the ship against distemper. This is treatment which cannot be administered in England, because the special vaccine needed will not retain its potencj/ for the duration of the long voyage to the Dominion. The dogs are bound for Dr. Moody’s sheep station in Central Otago.
