FINER GRADES IN DEMAND. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 19. At the wool sales, 10,528 bales were offered, including 4297 New Zealand. About 6372 bales. of Australian and New Zealand were sold. There was a good demand, for all finer grades at steady rates, but Merinos, were, 5 per cent below the highest of the series. Inferiors and faulty were irregular. Withdrawals were numerous. Nevr Zealand scoured Merinos, “Glenlyon, top price, 24d; average, 22 7-Bd. Greasy halfbred, “Takitu,” 14d and 133 d. • , , ... ■■
