WOUND UP
BRITISH FASCISTS LTD.
“PHYSICIAN, HEAL THYSELF.”
(Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 19.
“Although formed to organise Fascism in Britain, the company appears to have been incapable of organising itself,” declared the official receiver in winding up British Fascists Ltd. The minutes revealed continuous dissensibn among the executive committees. Although the membership in 1933 was 400,000, subscriptions from 1928 to 1935 averaged £350 per annum. The organisation’s failure was attributed to competition by the Mdsleyites and general apathy to Fascism.
