BANDIT RETURNS £l. BRISBANE, June 19. A masked man, armed with a longbarrelled revolver, confronted A. F. Simons, proprietor on the Broadway Casket Agenc3 r , Wickham Street, Valley, in his shop, an'd forced Simons to rifle his own cash register and hand the contents over to him. Simons scooped out several notes, which the thief snatched. Then he ordered Simons to hand over the silver as well. “You might leave me with something,” Simons said, and was surprised when the thief returned about £l. After threatening to “bore” Simons if he moved, the thief turned, whipped the mask from his face, and raced away in the direction of Barry Parade. .
