LATEST QUOTATIONS. LONDON, November 8. Fine gold is quoted today at £6 19/2 an ounce, compared with £6 19/1J yesterday. ' Silver is quoted at 23 9-16 d an ounce spot, and 23 11-16 d forward, compared with 23 7-16 d and 23 9-16 d yesterday. The quotations for silver at per fine ounce is 25 7-16 d, compared with 25 5-16 d yesterday.
