Fairly good competition prevailed for a ftiedium yarding of fat pigs, at Te Awamutu on Thursday, reports the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. A total clearance was effected at ruling rates. Particularly brisk bidding ruled in the store and weaner sections, notwithstanding chat large supplies were offering, and all were sold at prices very pleasing to vendors. Medium fat baconers brought 60/ to 67/6; light baconers and heavy porkers, 45/ to 55/; medium porkers, 38/ to 43/; smaller. 34/ to 37/; large stores. 31/ to 36/; slips. 20/ to 27/; weaners, 15/ to 19/: inferior, to 14/.’
