ON 250-MILE FRONT. WHEAT AREAS DENUDED. (Received 11 a.m.) ADELAIDE, This Day. Eyre Peninsula, South Australia’s vast wheatgrowing province, is being devastated by the worst grasshopper plague within memory. In many cases farmers will reap no grain. Many others will obtain no more than feed. The grasshoppers continue their advance on a 250-mile front.
