HORTICULTURAL SHOW

A meeting &f the Kaitaia Horticultural Society was held last week, Mrs Geard presiding. The business of the meeting was to finalise the arrangements for the show and appoint stewards. The show is to be held on Friday, November 9, and entries will be accepted right up'to the day of the show. It is anticipated that the show will be a good one, and that the patronage will be better than ever. Everything possible is being done to ensure an attractive display, and the provision of a musical programme is under consideration.

The judges will be Messrs. Thomas and Hopkins, of Auckland.
