LAMBING SEASON
GOOD NORTHERN SITUATION. The lambing season is now well advanced, as evidenced by the amount of docking being done. One farmer reports a tally of over 400 lambs, all in tip-top condition. With visions of last season still in mind, sheep farmers are looking forward to a successful season. Farmers are complaining bitterly of the bobby calf quota, and in many cases are killing their calves sooner than -sell at the prices obtaining.
