Pilcher, of Invercargill, defeated Mrs W. A Scott, of Timaru, 6 and 5. MANAWATU MATCHES (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) . PALMERSTON N., This Day. In the Manawatu ladies’ golf championship, Miss M. Garner (Manawatu/ beat Miss M. Guy (Manawatu), 2 lip. Miss J. Spring (Manawatu) won the Ekstedt Handicap Cup, beating Mrs Broderick (Wanganui), 2 up. The Manawatu Handicap match was Won by Miss K. C. Cruickshanks (Masterton). who defeated Mrs. t). O. Williams (Manawatu), 5 and 4 in the final.
