AUGUST OPERATIONS. PRODUCTION AND GRADINGS. (Special to “Northern Advocate.’’) AUCKLAND, This Day. During August, the first month .of the new season, a small expansion on the output in August, 1933, is recorded. Gradings of butter for export during the five weeks ended September 1, totalled 6,487 tons, compared with 6,462 tons in the corresponding .period last year. Cheese gradings for the period, was 712 tons, against 691 tons. The increase in butter gradings is about onehalf per cent., and in cheese about 3 per cent.
