.A discovery of world-wide importance is reported in the village of Paintiha, in the Jubblepore district, where a. giant skeleton was unearthed from the bank of a river. It is 31 feet 0 inches long and the legs are 10 feet long. The skeleton is believed to have boon that of a prehistoric ape. It is being preserved, pending an examination by geologists, who regard it as enormously interesting.

The Jubblepore district is renowned for its wealth of fossilised relics of an earlier ago, A giant prehistoric mammal, reputed to be centuries old, was found there three years ago.
