ITALY'S WOOL EMBARGO
NOT IMPOSED AGAINST AUSTRALIA.

Italy’s wool embargo against Australia, as a means of reducing the adverse trade balance, Avliicb it Avas intended to apply as from August 1, has not been imposed. It is learned that immediate action is not likely, though Italy’s ultimate intentions cannot be ascertained. Likewise -Germany has not intimated her intentions.
