CLAIM FOR DAMAGES,
PLAINTIFFS FAIL,

Reserved judgment has been given by Mr Justice Kennedy, dismissing tho claim cf plaint id's in tho Manapouri Station case, heard in the Supreme Court *at Invercargill in May. This was a civil action in which John MacDonald, of the Manapouii Station, Mosaburn, and Archibald Allan MacDonald, cf Waipori, both sheep fanners, sought, to recover from Johp MacDonald, of Invercargill, company manager, and Angr.4 MacDonald, of the Plains Station, Mossburn, sheep farmer, the sum of £f>ooo as damages for alleged fraudulent misrepresentation with respect to tho purchase by plaintiffs in 1020 for £lo,ooo of the Manapouri Station. Plaintiffs alleged that they* had been deceived into paying fbOOO too much for tho property, and the statement of claim sot nut the alleged misrepresentations.
Plaintiffs’ action for damages was dismissed, with costs against them.
