BROADWOOD

ST. MARK'S CLUB. Last week St. Mark’s Club held a social evening in the Broadwood A. and P. Hall, when visitors were entertained by the combined efforts of the various club sections. Items which interspersed dances were given as follows: Character song, men of the Broadwood group; play, “Elegant Edward,” Miss W., Wiggins, Messrs C. Mathesoh, F. Anderson, D. Newman and M. Wiggins; sketch, “How Time Flies,” F, Anderson and C. Matheson; part'songs, Buna Buna group; song, Mrs Hyde and chorus. Dance music was played by members and guests. A Statue Log Cabin was won by Miss V.. Rogers and Mr M. Wiggins and a Monte Carlo by Mrs Hyde and Mr B. Hyde, Mr F. Anderson was M.C.
