In the hanking section, 'Commercials were firm between 15/7 and 15/0. New Zealand’s jwere in demand at £2 0/, and Reserve Banks at £0 5/. The insurance section was strong, South British being in demand at 1 SI/, and New Zealands were quoted, ex dividend, with buyers at 01/ and sellers at 02/0, In the mining division, Waihis dropped hack, and a sale was effected at 31/, after which the line was quoted at 30/0 to 31/3. Gillespie’s Beach were firm between 2/1 and 2/3,
