At the .Sydney Stadium this evening, Varias Milling, 5.1.1 i, received the decision, a technical knockout, against Phineas John, 5.121, in the sixth round of their boxing bout. John had one of his eyes severely cut in the fifth, but resisted his brother’s request to nivc up. The ringside doctor then ordered the contest to cease, but the combatants continued and the referee was in a dilemma. Then the doctor succeeded in inducing the police to stop the contest.
