MUSEUM AND LIBRARY
MODERN BUILDING PLANNED. (Per Press Association.—Copyrlalit.) NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. New Plyouth is to have a modern library and museum, according to a decision which was made by the borough council last night. A building to cost £ 15,000 will be erected on a reserve near the railway station, and it will replace the present structure, which has been condemned as unsafe, and is also much too small for the needs of the town. The decision follows the criticism by Mr. Ralph Munn, of the ..Carnegie Foundation, that the library is poor owing to lack of space.
