LADIES’ HOCKEY DANCE. A successful dance was held in the Town Hall mi Almulay by tin- Onerahi Ladles' Hockey Cbib. The hockey "iris' i'll 1 orl ain meiil s always ■ lefeh a good erowd, and the hall was woll filled. Lx Iras wore jdayed by Mrs P. 1?. L. doing' and Misses AH Whlmp and L. Lagan. The pleasure of I lie evening was e nhaneed by songs, Airs Mathloson contributing ‘‘Home, Sweet Home,’ Airs Carlwrgbt “My Hoar Soul,’’ and Air A. Connolly “Mother Almdiroe.' ’ Aliss Horne played the accompaniments. Community singing also was a feature. Supper was served. Mr *L Drake acted as M.C.
Bridge was the order of the night on the stage, where non-dancers found interest and amusement at the tables. A series of contests resulted in prizes going to Messrs. Monro. Oemmel, and (I. Hawkes.
