' Emphasis is placed on the' “actions’'’’or presentation of pageant plays. ,On Friday evening the story-of Tutanekai and Hinemoa was effectively staged by local natives, under the tuition of Mrs Tito and W. Shortland. Yesterday the travelling of Nephi and his children in the wilderness and the birth of Christ were presented in further pageantry. On Saturday evening the annual meeting of the Mutual Improvement Association, under the direction of Mr H. Andrews and of the Primary Auxiliary, led by Sister Maraea Heke, were held. The programme yesterday was: 10.20 a.m., Sunday School, under Pera Wi Hongi; 2.20 p.m., main conference; 4 p.m., kai; 7.20 p.m., meetings of the Relief Society and the priesthood and presentation of two pageants. The visitors returned to their homes todav.
