MANGAKAHIA PRESENTATION
On Monday night a presentation ami dance was given at Parakao in honour of Air K. Hayr, whose marriage 1o Aliss .1. Cro/ier, of Hikurangi, lakes place next week. Dancing was the order ami supper was served by the ladies. Alany visitors from the surrounding districts were present. Air G. Hunter, on behalf of those present, presented Air Hayr with a canteen of cutlery, and thanked all who subscribed towards the present. He said the large number present signified the high esteem in which the schoolmaster was held by the residents.
